The Cressida cylinder head JUST fits in the trunk of my AW11. Off to the machine shop tomorrow!
Oh yes....I'll be going from JDM TRD springs (162 lb/in F, 280 lb/in R) to this Ground Control coilover setup (250 lb/in F, 350 lb/in R). 2013 NASA Mid-Atlantic NX-D trophy, here I come!
I just wanted to test to see if I could post on here. I give you the gift of car pronz. Success?
New blog post is up! Part 2 of my "Driving Roads of RVA" series.
Saw this over at Kotaku and I thought it was cool enough to share here. A mechanical clock made out of Lego bits. So awesome.
No idea if this has been posted yet, but new MCM episode is up. *squee*
The difference between us....and Autoblog. Such a small % by option 3
New blog post about one of the great driving roads in my city. Some pretty pictures too.
Because it bothers me and I am a tremendously picky person, behold NOT a targa top, but a t-top. Targa is completely removable, T-tops are two (usually glass) panels with a fixed "t-bar" running up the middle. Targa shown in reply.

Tonight I start my third attempt at a personal goal I've had for years: read the Silmarillion. I bought the Guide to Middle-Earth to help me along. Maybe when I'm done I'll move on to the Hobbit and LoTR. Wish me luck.
After nearly 5 years of autocrossing, I've finally gone and signed up for a NASA membership. Hopefully I can tear it up in NXD this year!
So being the nerd I am, my family bought the Lord of the Rings extended edition blu-ray trilogy for Christmas. I watched Return of the King today and the extended version is 4 hours and 26 minutes long and is basically the greatest thing I've ever seen on screen. And I think there is something like 26 hours of bonus…
New post up on my blog. How to fit a 20valve 4A-G manifold on a 16valve engine + how to wrap headers.
So there is a Corolla FX-16 GTS for sale on my local Craigslist. I emailed the seller probably two weeks ago and never heard back. It was just reposted again and I emailed again. This thing would make a killer daily driver and the want is very strong. I think people who refuse to answer emails like that should get a…
